I am having trouble keeping the Range stable underneath my head. Any tips?

Does the Range feel like it is wobbling underneath your head?

If you are having difficulty keeping the Range stable as you lay over the tool, here are some tips to improve this:

  1. Check the surface you are on. A squishier surface (like a carpet) will allow the Range to wobble and will absorb some of the force and pressure that would otherwise be applied to your muscles. If you can be on a firmer surface (like a hardwood floor with a yoga mat), that will help improve the stability of the tool and help you "feel it" more.
  2. If lying on a carpet is your only available option, use your hand(s) to help hold the Range in place under your head/neck as you lie down over it.
  3. If you are using a certain pair of tips to press into a spot on your neck and feel that the Range wants to tip over, spin the tool around in the opposite direction. You will still be using the same set of tips to apply pressure, but the two sets of tips that are on the ground will be positioned differently and will be more stable as you lie over it. Depending on how high or low you are pressing on your neck, you may need to spin the tool in either direction to have it be more stable.
  4. Consider changing where you are distributing your body weight of your head when lying over the Range. If you shift your head too much towards either side or to the front or back, that is going to encourage the Range to tip in that direction. Take some time to find the proper balance when lying over the Range so it can be stable and deliver the pressure needed to your muscles.

Using the Range is a new skill that you are learning. Keeping the tool stable will get easier very quickly as you keep practicing and using the tips we shared above.
