Using the Mark while standing

Why should I start using the Mark with the standing technique?

Even if you’re someone who's had their hip flexor muscles released before, we still recommend you get started using the Mark from the standing position. Doing so will help you learn the basics of using the tool and it also offers several additional benefits:

  • Easier to see where you are placing the Mark on your body to find the right spots within the "release zone"
  • Great way to ease into it and find the best starting pressure for your body
  • Ability to increase the pressure from the standing position before laying over the Mark on the ground (which is more pressure)

General guidelines and recommendations

  • Use the Orbit ball to warm up the hip flexor region before using the Mark
  • Always start off with less pressure before increasing the intensity
  • If anything causes an increase in pain or discomfort, please stop and give yourself a break
