Can the Mark help me if I have hip dysplasia?

Tightness in the iliacus and psoas muscles (your hip flexors) often develops in those with hip dysplasia, where the hip socket doesn't fully encapsulate the ball of the femur (thigh bone). This makes the hip unstable and causes the brain to tighten up these muscles to create stability and protect the hip joint. Other muscles around the hip joint can also be recruited to tighten up and hold tension.

Using the Mark and the Orbit may help to reduce the tension and tightness in the muscles around the hips. With a combination of muscle release and the appropriate corrective strengthening & stretching exercises, you may experience improvements in how you feel.

For best results, the Aletha Health products should be used together and alongside other stretches and exercises. Please check with your healthcare practitioner for which stretches and exercises are appropriate for you.
