Although people who have had hip replacement surgery have used the Mark successfully and experienced positive results, we recommend that you please consult with your healthcare practitioner first to ensure that the area is fully healed and stable before using the tool in your particular situation.
Following a hip replacement surgery, people may continue to experience pain and tightness surrounding the hip region. The psoas and iliacus are adjacent to the front of the hip joint and go through a lot with hip surgery. Tension in these muscles can be responsible for pain in the hip and groin, even after your healing process is "complete" after surgery. Using the Mark may be a helpful addition to support your post-surgery recovery and maintenance routines by reducing compression of the hip joint and increasing the range of motion in the hips.
