Yes, the Aletha Health products are FSA/HSA eligible with TrueMed. Once you've added products to your cart, follow these steps:
- Checkout as a guest. Avoid express checkout. Do not enter your Shop Pay or Google Pay express code if prompted.
2. Select "TrueMed - Pay with HSA/FSA" as your payment method.
3. Click "Complete order" to be taken to the TrueMed site to enter your payment details, complete the FSA/HSA eligibility survey, and finalize your order.
If I don't have my HSA/FSA card, can I pay with a credit card and be reimbursed later?
Yes, you can pay with your personal credit card. You must still follow the above steps and select "TrueMed - Pay with HSA/FSA" as your payment method. TrueMed will provide you with detailed instructions on how to claim reimbursements, which involves submitting the receipt and a doctor's note to your HSA/FSA provider. TrueMed will email these documents to you.
What if I am approved?
If you are eligible for HSA/FSA spending, your card will be charged at the end of the survey. You'll receive a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) several days after payment outlining that these items are HSA/FSA eligible. To ensure compliance, keep that LMN and your receipts for the next three years (both should be in your email). TrueMed will email these documents to you.
What if I am not approved?
If you complete the survey and are not approved, then you will not be charged through the TrueMed site. Return to the Aletha Health Shopify store and complete your order using a credit card or Shop Pay.
